A 12,000 sf addition to a historic 10,000 sf Georgian Colonial library.

The entrance to the original library faced the Town's Green, however, with the construction of the addition it was relocated to the side of the building to provide a more centrally located access point. The exterior walls of the building are brick painted white, windows are double hung with insulated glass and the roof is a fiberglas shingle designed to match the original tile roof.

The interiors of the original 1936 Georgian-style library was completely restored during construction of the new addition. Portions of the rear wall of the original building were removed to facilitate access between the two buildings. Interior finishes, such as hardwood floors, oriental rugs, artwork and traditional colors were carefully selected to create a comfortable ambiance in the new library.

The Project was completed in 1992.
